Another reason for the surface Mulham stop between Scarlett Road and Royal York Road on the West Crosstown LRT in Etobicoke.

If the NIMBYs don't want this development, as is, then no Mulham stop for you. If you want the Mulham stop, then the development should go on.

This is a good spot for infill, and even going a couple more floors wouldn't be the worst idea ever.

Great to see infill. It does look quite foreign to the location - understandably - but will hopefully adapt to its surroundings in due time.

No update on LPAT's website to indicate if that hearing took place this February, or if anything further has been scheduled (or rescheduled) yet.

Retail is tough here but I hope they can negotiate childcare/affordable units. It's a great alternative benefit when retail doesn't work on the ground floor.

Appeal allowed, final order on zoning withheld pending:

1. A s. 37 agreement has been executed to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor securing the rental tenure of the existing rental building without application to convert or demolish for at least 20 years and securing needed improvements to the existing rental building.

2. The Tribunal has been advised by the City Solicitor that the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendments are satisfactory to the City.

Site Plan Approval application filed on February 24:

Ward 2: Etobicoke Centre

Signs of life here with resubmission of the SPA, increasing storey count from 7 to 8 (height increased from 28.35 to 31.3m) and total proposed residential units increased from 182 to 211.
