Don't touch those buildings!
I don't think they're going to touch those buildings facades . But what ever parcel of land is connected with them could sprout some form of thin skyscraper or supertall in this location!

By all means, touch them, please! But only if you intend to clean them up, give them a bit of love. Not an empty, superficial incorporation into some dubious skyscraper scheme.
You know that's what they're do. lol! The facade will definitely be preserved but will the core of the building.

Saving the building facades isn't good enough.
So you mean the whole interior of the building should be preserved too. Maybe the developers at 55 Yonge are teaming up with this parcel of land to preserve theses buildings . In order to expand 55 Yonge's tower to a supertall. Just like they do it in Midtown Manhattan lol!

Correct. The interiors of the buildings should be preserved and / or restored too.
