Proposed development of an 8-storey mixed-use building with 59 dwelling units. The proposed gross floor area is 5785 square metres, including 977 square metres of retail space at grade, resulting in a floor space index of 4.49 times the area of the lot. The existing two-storey retail buildings will be demolished.

Good to see this on Dundas West in the heart of soon to be "downtown Etobicoke" There is so much opportunity for density and revitalization in the neighbourhood. With the Six Points plaza nearby slated for demolition for condos, fingers crossed some good retail comes to the area.
 
Love to see more missing middle housing built but I will definitely regret seeing St James Gate go. Hopefully they can find a way to stay in the community
