CentreCourt has acquired the land of 5359 Dundas St West in Etobicoke, steps away from Kipling Hub station - with development of a new high-rise residential project.
Not too sure if it will be condos or apartment rentals, my bet is apartment rentals to beat the housing shortages we face.

Comments: Good sized foot print, lots of height (up into the 40s) precedent nearby, weird lot lines!
 
The Well in Etobicoke?! Hope to see more retail frontage here, especially its proximity to Kipling Hub Station and potentially future BRT or a subway extension to Sherway Gardens.

Comments: Above ratio is absurd; architectural quality is lacking, and yes, there is a surface parking lot in there...... send back for major refinement.

some people on this forum need to go to a lunch and learn seminar on the latest elevator technology asap.

People in buildings throughout the City are experiencing often ridiculous waits for elevators; I don't think @Amare 's critique is at all out of line, it's one shared by many here.

You don't need a seminar to see the actual wait times of actual residents in actual, recently-built, buildings.

If there has been a stupendous advance in the last 12-18 months of which we are apparently all unaware but for you......... please do enlighten us by providing a link to that information. I'm sure we would all be grateful and appreciative.

Keep in mind, as well, that elevator breakdowns (and planned maintenance) should mean, at bare minimum one more elevator that you would otherwise reasonably need under normative conditions.

Please feel free to let us all know if there has been some recent breakthrough advancement in elevator technologies which have made elevators run faster, and suffer from much less downtime for any kind of maintenance which would translate into vastly reduced wait times for residences in buildings.

Also many times one elevator is booked for someone moving in or moving out. For a building of this size, there would be several movings every weekend.
 
When the designer opts for sawtooth balconies, it's a good indication they didn't have any good design ideas. It's 50+ storeys... It should be something a bit more special; not bland
