New Park at 134 Portland Street​

A new developer-delivered park is coming to Portland Street! The park will be located on Portland Street, south of Richmond Street West. The City is engaging the community to help determine the park design.

Project Timeline​

• Fall 2021: Community engagement and design development
• 2022: Detailed design
• 2023: Construction starts
• Summer 2024: Construction complete

The timeline is subject to change.

As part of a new development at 543 Richmond Street, a new 550m2 municipal park will be created on Portland Street, just south of Richmond Street West. The City is working with the developer and their landscape architect on the design and construction of the new park. The proposed park will include:

• A shade structure
• Seating areas
• Planter beds with new plantings
