Interesting. That parking lot always seemed way oversized for the little beer store.

I wonder what will happen with the old lcbo site a bit closer to Queen.. The building has been abandoned for the last 6 months.

It's trying to fit a lot of density onto that site, but I think I'm a fan of the design. The stepback accompanied by shifting angles is unique and sensitive to the surrounding neighbourhood.

A few front doors right on the street never hurts either.

The rendering is kind of lame but I don't hate it. Part of me wishes that whole triangle underneath the railway were getting developed altogether but that part of Parkdale isn't desirable enough to warrant going that big I guess.
