The material itself looks great! I just wish the glazed portions were set back even 300mm or so. Right now it looks like more of a surface treatment than an actual relief that reinforces the idea of stacked modules.

The stained bare ceilings doesn't win any points. I little sandblasting would help and still keep the loft look.

It is in fact a lovely facade. What I do not like is that the builder did not provide blinds for the units as standard. All the units fronting King are studios/bachelors for rental. This weekend I started seeing some ugly curtains that are very noticeable because of the facade

Sandblasting the ceiling would be a maintenance and health nightmare after occupancy as the concrete will continuously chalk/dust even more. Exposed interior concrete do dust a considerable amount even when left untouched.
I'm planning on washing and sealing my ceiling (with a very light transparent paint stain to even out the colour and imperfections), before I move into my new condo.

Carturo15: I also noticed the inconsistent window treatments when walking home, which are really noticeable on the lower floors. I believe window coverings were provided in River City 2, which I think is essential given how the windows and the white theme is so important on the design of that building.
