October 13: Lots of activity on the site this morning. Shoring rig is active, two concrete trucks on the site, and a mobile crane is lifting a steel shoring pile to put in one of the shoring holes.

The former rental residential building at the south-east corner is still standing though. While the project may have its shoring and excavation permits, and possibly even for its foundation and below grade levels, if I recall correctly, a demolition permit for a rental residential building may not be granted until the building permit for the replacement residential building has been issued....
