This is a site just off The Queensway between Royal York and Islington.

A proponent is seeking to permit affordable housing on the site, in addition to community centre uses.

7 Plastics is currently vacant, while 9 has a small lowrise building.

Site size: ~5400m2 / 58000ft2

Comments: Directly across from 859 Queensway, which provides a height precedent of 11s. Site will require an OPA, as well as ZBA.

Just to note here that the lobbying activity on this has been substantial and was happening again yesterday.

Given the affordable housing noted above, I don't see @HousingNowTO flagged in this thread yet.......its probably time.

Living 100 meters from the entrance may induce such behaviour.
No it won't because the whole point of Costco is to drive there when it is as busy as possible (likely a weekend), spend a minimum of $500 on things like half a cow, a flock of chickens, 10kgs of bacon, 600 rolls of toilet tissue, 30 kgs of sugar, and a 90 inch TV. Nobody is carrying that home.
