St. Thomas Proud facebook page shared some photo updates of construction from this site today, which apparently includes an underground tunnel between two apartment buildings being constructed in separate phases. I'll post them at the bottom but UT doesn't have a thread for this project yet so I'll copy some background here first, borrowing from this SSP forum.

The project is I presume the single largest multi-unit residential project in the history of St. Thomas. The site is just south of the historic downtown core, sits adjacent to a rail trail that leads to the Port Stanley beach on Lake Erie, and used to be home to a college, but its buildings burned down in a fire long ago. When complete, the site will house three apartment buildings. The first 8-storey phase is complete and occupied, and the 9-storey second phase is currently under construction.

That phase was completed in June 2023:

Today's update on phase two reads:
"
The first of the precast has landed at Alma College Apartments Phase 2! This is part of a tunnel that will connect the Phase 2 parking garage to the future Phase 3 building!
Now that Stubbe's Precast has placed all the precast pieces for the tunnel, the next step will be waterproofing before everything is backfilled so Sierra Construction can start erecting the full building!
