Proposal for a new affordable housing development on an existing Peel Living property in Bramalea. There are several other development proposals for the area, including the Martinway proposal at Queen and Kings Cross, and the development proposal on the fitness centre/plaza directly behind this proposal at Kings Cross and Kensington.

The applicant is proposing to amend the Zoning By-law to permit a high-rise apartment building, details of the proposal are as follows:
o A twenty-storey (20) affordable rental apartment building on the northern portion of the property, this will be the third apartment building on property;
o The proposed structure will contain 200 units and approximately 41% of the units will be affordable and rented below 60% of the City of Brampton’s median market rental rate;
o The Gross Floor Area (GFA) of the proposed structure is 15,053 square metres. The three apartment buildings will result in a FSI of 2.58;
o Approximately 0.21 hectares of land at the north portion of the property is vacant, which is where the proposed third apartment will be located;
o There is a total of 77 parking spaces (47 resident, 30 visitor), 15 of the parking spaces will be surface and 62 spaces will be below-grade. There will be an extension to the existing below grade parking structure;
o The proposed development will have vehicular access from the existing drive way that services the two existing apartment buildings fronting Knightsbridge Road.
