I think you meant "ready for Toronto Hydro"South west corner is ready for interlocking.
There’s supposed to be a new TDSB school built (eventually) a few blocks to the South-East of this site. It is where the Ontario Line Tunnel Portal reaches the surface at the Eastern end of MILL STREET.Does anyone know if there will.be a school in this community. And does anyone know if floor plans are available. How big are the townhouses?

I think there are still 'plans' (or hopes!) for a school in the south east corner of the West Don Lands once the work on the Ontario Line at the rail berm is finished. Of course, if it actually goes ahead it will not open for 10-15 years but .....With regards to floorplans:
That was the first thing I looked for when the affordable housing lottery was started. Usually with these lotteries, they have the floorplans for those specific units linked somewhere on the page but I don't see any mention of them yet.
With regards to schools:
Easiest way to find this out is to open up Google Maps in Toronto and search for "elementary schools". It will show existing schools in the area. Right now, the closest schools are around 3-5 blocks away.
Google maps won't show the schools yet to be built though.
TDSB school is proposed for BLOCK-9 after the Ontario Line Tunnel work is done -There’s supposed to be a new TDSB school built (eventually) a few blocks to the South-East of this site. It is where the Ontario Line Tunnel Portal reaches the surface at the Eastern end of MILL STREET.
Similar to what happened in City Place, the “stand-alone” School is almost always one of the last things to be redeveloped. Ontario Education Ministry usually wants +90% of the new residential buildings to be completed and occupied BEFORE they will FUND the new school.
So, are we getting sidewalks back before the Christmas market in a month?
