But they stuck it to the man, man! Don't you know developers are snakey business suit types that want every piece of the city sterilized for profit? I saw it on the documentary Pixar made: Up!
 
You have to wonder about the holdout. Not much that you'll ever be able to do with that lot now.

I see those holdouts as excellent locations for future restaurants in a bustling urban neighbourhood. In some way, I am glad they will survive the condo-gedden of this boom cycle.

Right and they'll still have a small lot with little room to build anything. I doubt the city would ever allow a restaurant on a side street like this.
 
Midtown in focus actually pushes for retail along Redpath. The densities in this area as currently proposed necessitate more retail in the immediate area.
