Ahh, pulling that classic rendering out again I see.

You have to rely on elevations, not renderings, to know material choices. Renderings are artistic interpretations, elevations are more technically accurate.

The glass is a big win in my opinion. Given the developer’s reputation we could’ve ended up with a spandrel fest. Thank god we got sexy glass this time

Just a reminder before we give Concord too much credit here, someone a while back on this forum snapped a photo of materials stored on site with "YSL" written on it, the former name of this before it fell into Concord's hands.

So it seems likely that they were already ordered before Concord took over and rebranded this project. Which is still a win but I'm sure they would have opted for cheaper glass if they could have.

Maybe the glass could still change once glazing the load transfer slab.

They're hard to make out, but I'm pretty sure those are curtainwall pockets on the edge of slab, going up as high as they've poured.

I could see it switching to windowwall once they get to the floors with the balconies. But maybe that high up the details won't be as noticeable

Again, we know this from the approved elevations. It’s curtain wall all the way up except for the areas with balconies - behind the balconies will be window wall.
