Traffic Change at Keelesdale Station December 22, 2019

From link.

As early as Sunday December 22, 2019, crews will implement a traffic configuration change at Eglinton Avenue West and Keele Street/Trethewey Drive. The west pedestrian crosswalk will reopen. The sidewalk in front of York Memorial CI will remain closed due to ongoing fire investigations. Pedestrians on the east side of the intersection will be diverted around the northeast work zone, in front of the Main Entrance. Access to businesses will be maintained. There will be no impacts to TTC bus service. This configuration will remain in place for approximately three (3) months. The traffic flip will start at 11:00pm and will take approximately seven (7) hours to implement. Please allow extra time for your journey.

You're about 3 pages late ?

K lets do this again.

The colour of the sky, train and concrete is grey and ugly and quite frankly the whole Crosstown should be canceled.

Lots of transit news yesterday but this nugget dropped in TTC budget debate. TTC has billed Metrolinx more than $60M since 2013 for extra bus service required for LRT construction. It says Metrolinx is "contractually obligated" to pay those costs, but Mx stopped doing so in 2017.

To put that in perspective, the $45.2m the TTC says it's owed by Metrolinx for LRT-related bus service is more than the $34.1m that would be raised by a 10-cent fare increase next year.

Add this to the ever-growing list of Metrolinx's financial mismanagement.

It's time for a top to bottom audit of Metrolinx's finances. Their financial mismanagement has become habitual. They've been caught making unauthorized withdrawals from TTC accounts, they owe tens of millions for lost fare revenue, they failed to disclose $300 Million+ in improper payments to Crosslinx. God only knows what other financial mismanagement has yet to be disclosed to the public. I wouldn't be surprised if they've thrown away $1 Billion+ at this point.

The serious work on Metrolinx's biggest projects, GO RER and the Ontario Line, hasn't even begun yet. Can't wait to see how they mismanage those projects into the ground.

Metrolinx has clearly developed a culture of unaccountability. The fact that they continue to be trusted with tens of billions of dollars with no meaningful oversight whatsoever is unacceptable.

This whole debacle really oughta highlight to other levels of government and private business that they oughta be extraordinary cautious about working with Metrolinx. The agency will make commitments, take your money and then promptly fail to deliver on every one of their promises. It’s thievery. We’ve seen it time and time again with Crosstown, the LRTs and Presto and I’m sure we’ll see this continue with the Ontario Line as well

GTA-area municipalities really oughta be taking Metrolinx to court over their contractual failures, rather than letting the agency run all over them. If Queen’s Park legislatively protects Metrolinx from this, at the very least it’ll highlight to the public what a bunch of crooks this agency is.

whoa whoa, lets not give the cons any ideas....

Crosstown cancelled as Ford government finds it 5x greyer than Liberals stated.

Just the surface section. The underground portion can stay. On another note, isn't it weird anytime there's a milestone, it has to be on a grey and damp day?

First vehicle delivered
EMSF doors open
Unveiling of 6201
Testing that started on Saturday.

Of course, Doug Ford thinks he is god (lower case 'g').
