Sorry but this looks pretty cheap & ugly. Reminds me of something Concord would put up.

How can this be the same developer as River City, Smart House, Charlotte Lofts & Camden Lofts?!
 
Yup, this is just cheap non-sense. Did they source those spandrel panels from Concord's most recent trash project from the project at Lake Shore and Bathurst?
 
The window wall is definitely subpar here. They're going to need the balcony glass to salvage the aesthetics and try to at least bring this back up to mediocrity.
 
It does look like the renders....think we will truly see how good/bad this is when the balcony glass is up.

Also, this is Walman....much different than Saucier+Perotte. Not even in the same class. Same builder but way different architects and even Smarthouse was designed by aA, Camden & Charlotte Lofts (Core)...Wallman can't hang with those firms.

Architects can call for any materials they want to on a building exterior, but ultimately the developer sets the budget that will determine how much can be spent on the exterior.

Wallman designed Tableau, which this is a mini, white, frameless version of, chevron shaped and everything. Yes, it'll take the balcony glass to be on to see if it really turns out looking like the below… which isn't so bad!

This is the classic developer's approach to caring less about design and materials the further you get from downtown. It seems they feel there's less scrutiny of such elements in places like Etobicoke, which is unfortunate for everyone.
