Interesting plans, I had thought from many years ago discussions that Lower Sherbourne was to be 'straighened' so it lined up better across Queen's Quay East. Of course it is hard to see as these plans only go south to "New Street" but it looks as though Lower Sherbourne will remain narrowed at the north side of Queen's Quay and thus, presumably remain one-way south???

It will remain as such until the block to the south redevelops, I believe. Ultimately Pinnacle can only build the road on the part of it that they own. 180 Queens Quay needs to be the one to provide the dedication to actually widen Sherbourne:

Although it’s the same few equipment for months now moving dirt around so not sure how much of construction this really is.

Of course it's the same machines that are digging for the foundation, the dirt has to be taken out for foundations to start.
