Looks like they cut through an underground waterway that froze up during this cold snap. As seen in the photo up above.
 
They are installing an access ladder. So they must’ve reached rock bottom in that section of the dig.

These condos are the type of buildings that deserves to belong beside the CN Tower on the old railyards or along the harbourfront. They haven't even climbed up to they're appropriate height . And they are all ready blowing my mind! As seen in the photos up above.
 
Have no idea why Toronto not willing to do these type of building other than the cost to build them and not square box. 2005 saw a tower that should have been in Toronto as well the top 15 runner up.
