There were a variety of styles behind the iron curtain, and reducing the entire architectural legacy of most of a continent through the 20th century to "commie blocks" is just plain wrong.

are we just going to ignore the hundreds of concrete apartment blocks around our own city..? It was more of a worldwide architectural trend at the time than anything else
