Incredible photos. Hate to ask you this, but what program do you use? I will soon be checking out your flickr page--perhaps some tech info is there.

thanks guys for the nice comments...

Irish Monk, I am using Photoshop 7.0... it doesnt really have all the high end effects available in newer versions but its enough to have fun with as you can see... Good luck figuring out some of you own tricks! (a hint - its all about layers!)

Good Toronto-and Caribana pics!

RS: Good pics-the Caribana pics were good-even the one 4 pics above showing the colors worn-even the Cincinnati Reds are represented at Caribana! LI MIKE

Fantastic pics Redroom! (and beautiful effects). Summer can't come soon enough!

I like how you have some photos of people from close up, instead of from really far away.

Really love what you are doing... it's all part of creating an urban mythology that is sorely needed (Hollywood has made many inferior U.S. cities "mythological").

In the spirit of "less is more", I think the first shot with crushed colours/contrast, mulitple layers and drop-shadows is the weakest.

On the other hand, your b/w and gold canvas is truly unique... this could be your signature style.

All in all, I'm just nitpickin' and giving some feedback... you have a terrific eye (no need to borrow other people's shots) and a terrific imagination.

Call me crazy, but this still life is almost perfect:

Terrific compilation of sensational photos.
Damn I love this city.

who knew? 3D doesnt like the 3D stuff! if anything that is my signature style that I havent seen many other people doing... as for that still life, its good but I wish the label of the wine bottle was facing the camera and I wasnt sure about the way the neck of the bottle goes out of frame.

Just happy to share life in T.O. as seen through my eyes... thanks guys for taking a look and leaving such nice comments!

I think that your imaginative, experimental abstracts - where you really let go and create entire worlds out of pure colour and form - are more compelling than these slightly tweaked streetscapes for skyscraper geeks, charming and undeniably popular though they are.

nice of you to say, but of course those have their own venue... thats more my artistic side. I quite enjoy the challenge and rewards of street photography though clearly I am strictly an amateur in that category. What the heck, atleast it gets me out of the house....
