New Park at Wilson Avenue & Faywood Boulevard

A new 973m2 park (smaller than a hockey rink, larger than a basketball court) is coming to the northeast corner of Wilson Avenue and Faywood Boulevard. The new park will be accessible and include a play/fitness area. A dogs off-leash area will not be included due to the park’s limited size...

City seems intent on adding another playground to the neighbourhood. Can't imagine living in those units with the splash pad there.
Really a missed opportunity for a community space or even more grown up / senior fitness needs.

Well the sidewalk is open again, but there is red paint all down it marking a utility. Guess we'll see if it gets tore up right away.
New traffic lights are now operational. Judging by the traffic during peak I don't think they are synchronized to the lights just a stones throw to the East.

Also, what's with the massive boulevard?

More buffer space between the noise and pollution of a street like Wilson isn't a bad idea to make walking pleasant in the area.
