giving my new tripod a serious test drive. Some of the straight up shots are a bit random as my neck was getting sore trying to look up through the view finder to compose the shots. Also apologies for the rain drops on some of the images... not much you can do when its raining.

A Rainy night in Toronto...great pics!

RS: This is a great group of pics showing Toronto on a rainy night-perhaps the type when most will not venture out. These pics came out fine to me!

I like the flagpole/TD Centre/FCP/CIBC and the King/University Subway Entrance pics alot because it mixes a much smaller single object with much taller buildings.

Jimbo, to answer your question very briefly: I have a SONY dslrA100($900), was shooting with my Sigma 10-20mm lens ($800) and a Manfrotto 486RC2tripod ($250). I'll write you a message with more details shortly....

Did you have it on high exposure time? Everything has a strange glow to it. I like it.

But RR, why on earth don't you shoot the "real" Toronto? Your technique would do wonders in the Junction, Leslieville, Pape and O'conner, Old Weston Rd etc!
