Maybe this has been said before but looking at those long shots, this baby really could use a spire. Maybe The One or 50 Bloor W will properly indulge us with a satisfying peak to this overly boxy cluster.

I'm super glad there's no spire.

1 Bloor West has no spire planned, and there are no relevant renderings for 50 Bloor West.

Just my opinion but the recent NYC spires look pathetic IMHO. Nothing to aspire to (sorry). Little icicles on their rooftops to give them greater false height. Hope Toronto doesn't copy that architectural trend.

So now the green is starting to really stick out from the aqua blue--no? Why not just keep it uniform? It's distracting.

It sets apart the retail uses from the residential parts of the building. They may have wanted to call attention to that distinction.
