Some pics, taken May 20th, 2022:

First, a quick glance at the west side of Centre Avenue which is getting streetscape improvements at the same time as that work is being done across the Court site.

Moving on the Court itself and the Grounds:

A couple of additional notes from talking to crew on-site.

The large concrete forms are, as one would expect, tree planters.

I did confirm they will be clad in solid granite.

I also inquired on timing, I was told the current target is to turn the building over in September.

I'm glad they clad those massive columns. Not a fan of raw concrete columns that are so common in condo developments here.

Plaza is taking shape

Glass box on stilts. Why bother with interesting details, textures, and contrast when you can simply reflect the sky and surrounding buildings. It's Toronto' version of covering a boring building in ivy. I know it's a courthouse but... yeesh, can we have some inspiration?

They are certainly taking their time to fill in the Windows where the external hoist was.
