First, a quick glance at the west side of Centre Avenue which is getting streetscape improvements at the same time as that work is being done across the Court site.

A couple of additional notes from talking to crew on-site.

The large concrete forms are, as one would expect, tree planters.

I did confirm they will be clad in solid granite.

I also inquired on timing, I was told the current target is to turn the building over in September.
 
Glass box on stilts. Why bother with interesting details, textures, and contrast when you can simply reflect the sky and surrounding buildings. It's Toronto' version of covering a boring building in ivy. I know it's a courthouse but... yeesh, can we have some inspiration?
