Lots more in the report!

Very little about transit users or pedestrians, other than

"• The Province will be pursuing multi-modal transportation solutions for site users, including connections to transit and active transportation links

•In the future the City and Province may explore joint parking solutions that would benefit both Ontario Place and Exhibition Place and be implemented through an appropriate cost sharing arrangement"

In other words, the almighty automobile MUST be accommodated because that is what the elite use. The peasants who have to walk (from the transit hubs) can go to the back of the line.

The first slide in Northern Light's post references transit, titled "Key Issues: Last Mile Transit from Exhibition Place to Ontario Place". It actually seems like a fair bit of thought is being put into it, though we'll see if thought = action.
Seems like a prime spot for some kind of autonomous shuttle 2.0.

A cable car could be fun, building on the whimsy that is (or was) Ontario Place. Lots of precedent around the world as urban cable cars are becoming increasingly common.

I'm not saying you're wrong......

But couldn't we just honour Steve Munro this once; by building a canal of self-driving Swan Boats? Sure we'd have to heat it in the winter; or install hover technology on the boats.......

The canal could be elevated over Lake Shore Blvd too!

;)

If there's one place that could really use a cable car it's one going down to ravine and Evergreen brickworks! Perhaps there's no harm having 2 cable cars though.

Oh for sure. Having attended Cask Days many times in the past, I can attest to the fact that the Brickworks need a better transit connection.

I think we have a much better chance at funding if it's an absurdly large ferris wheel.
