Supertall #2 starts with a 3 ft deep hole dug in a corner of a discarded surface parking lot...

They excavated for a couple of days, but now they seem to be filling part of it back in again. I'm really not sure what's going on.

Solid material may be brought in for other equipment, like the horizontal drilling rigs, to use for stability. 55 Charles did it too. Basically, it's insurance that the pit wont become muck if it rains to ensure things keep moving.

They'll probably reuse it for the ramp too.

I love watching this building go up and can't wait to see the deep excavation of the 95 storey tower as you can see in the photos up above !

This is what I expected the glazing on 1 Yorkville to look like. The stuff 1 Yorkville ended up using is nowhere near as nice as this.
