I wonder if they will move right into construction. Daniels is known to move quick on their projects and start construction earlier than most developers.

There's lots of parkland in MCC. More than "real" city downtowns and so much so that they break the urban form into discontinuous bits. And part of the woodlot will become parkland as seen in the site plan in post #60..

Not sure where you're getting that from.

All of downtown mississauga is strange. That's what happens when your downtown is centered around a shopping mall that was built all alone in the middle of a cornfield 50 years earlier.

Maybe, but they also provide some much needed 3 bedroom units. The towers are mostly one and two bed.

I am sure that they eventually will be. Sooner or later, development pressures will be too great for these properties to resist.
