This site is not attached to the mall, but rather just west of Sheridan College. The mall site intensification will probably start in the fall of 2021 when phase 1 of the new office building starts construction.

That is true. I believe the land that Sheridan College sits on once belonged to the previous owners of SQ1 .

It will be interesting to see if they excavate just for the current tower or phase one may contain more at the ground level.
