If I remember correctly, it's also a green roof, so that comes with additional insulation properties.I'm curious how the math works out between the amount of shading vs skylight/glass they put on, to achieve good energy balance. Is there a report/study of this somewhere?
Well spotted, but do you mean the eastern 'wing'? No doubt they'll do the same with the western.If you look at these 2 pics, it looks as though they are putting a wooden 'barrier' or form along the metal roofing on the western 'wing'. I assume to pour the concrete (?) roof on top of the 'corrugated iron'.
