When that grey was installed on the upper floors I assumed it was an under layer. It looks like they run out of money to clad the top 8 floors. All I see is a cheap tin can. Maybe one day they can install proper cladding on the top floors. Black brick could work.
Black brick would be too much and make the building look heavy. I think the underappreciated white brick could be the right choice (although structural concerns and cost make this a fantasy that no condo board would fund in a recladding).
