The two Locust on Gloucester? I'm used to trees where it takes two or three people to hug it. I don't know off hand what the city's minimum diameter is before they take control of the tree's future regardless if it's on public or private property. I'm assuming it's more than a foot.

For those interested, there is a lengthy tree declaration form with the submitted documents for this project which can be found on the city's website.

It is 30 cm in diameter taken 1.4 m above the ground.

From today.

Just found these forums. I live right across the street from this development and while I can say that I'm happy to see that building razed to the ground the noise every day starting at 7 might end me. Hopefully this noisy stage doesn't last too long.

I echo what others have said about the street level design - pretty sterile, I much prefer what they did down the road with the heritage buildings or at St. Nicholas street where they built a new "old" building.

We haven't yet seen a high-res rendering of the final version of the podium… but the low res one appears to show a lot more going on than the original proposal, so here's hoping it's not all undifferentiated glass!

Welcome to the Forum @jotor8!

The second floor (and the "A Touch of Class Wedding Photo & Video" sign are finally all gone :D

Also, a 70s(?) painted design on the ajoining building has now been partially uncovered.
