This construction is starting to become interesting watching how they're forming and pouring the concrete. In sections from those huge rebar beams as you can see in the photos up above!

We got spoiled by those few days of columns going up. Everyday that is just regular ole construction feels lame. Thanks @Benito for the photos nonetheless though! Hopefully more exciting construction days to come soon!
I wonder if we'll get a similar couple days where they do the steel for the next level all at once as well.

In my limited understanding of how this works is that with office buildings that use steel, the steel structure is worked on first, with the concrete encasing following behind it. I think that's what is going on here above grade.

that next pour is like 100,000 lbs of cement, crazy the form can hold it.
The angle irons supporting the forms only support the weight of the forms regardless of whether concrete is poured or not. Based on the height of the form you would be looking at a pressure of about 20 psi at the base reducing linearly to 0 at the top of the form.

If that's prep work to construct the first floor above grade, it seems a lot lower down than I was expecting it. Perhaps I missed something in the rendering fine print. :(
