we will be seeing finished floor rebar electrical and through holes by tmmrw.. so pouring thursday?

also i think it is telling that the elevator stack is roof is tarred, they are going to beginning interior fit

Looks like they’ve already placed the rebar cages for the next level of mega columns. Definitely get the sense that things are speeding up now.

They are even placing some of the rebar cages for the inner core as they are still pouring the floor, so the process is getting more efficient:

I feel a bit like the classroom dunce for asking but... what is the massive rectangular platform that is resting on the blue beams in the middle of the floor plate. Is it an elevator shaft? It takes up nearly a third of the entire floor area. Seems like a lot of space just for elevators.
