Interesting will the accent banding be thinner then we thought because of how the panels overlap?

also a detail that is crazy nice - the corners of the curtain wall are mitred... i don't think normal cladding is done that way

Nope, that's typical. Corner millions are usually a different, deeper, "mitred" extrusion. Regular 90s happen, too, but they're less popular because you end up with a big pillar in the corner
