Pinnacle is a hole in the ground. This is set to soar once it passes this complicated area. I'd bet on The One.
With that tiny staging area? No way. We've already seen repeated delays on this project while the initial phase of Pinnicle went up without a hitch and just look at how fast the basement levels are being formed for phase 2.

The podium will slow thing down a little though giving Mizarhi some hope but after that Pinnacle will be racing to catch up. One Bloor's trip card is of course the potential height increase, so even if they lose the battle they win the war in the battle of One's. Unless that rumored potential height increase for Pinnacle is true too...

Would be cool to have another Empire State Building/ Chrysler Building/40 Wall Street competition!

Our bird from the Uptown perch has gone missing this week. So thanks for filling (no pun intended) us in from your 2 Bloor W perch, thaivic-san! /bows

While I am in awe it has been two weeks since the last pour and they are still removing forms. Predicting a slow and steady rise here folks...

They're in as much financial trouble as time and space condos looks good.

Mizrahi may well be biting off more than he can chew, there may well be issues here. It's possible, and solid reasoning as to why that could happen has been given. At this point though, there is nothing to indicate that there are problems here, only rationale as to why it would not be surprising if there were.

So until there is concrete public evidence to believe this site is in trouble, there's no reason to assume it won't continue rising at a snail's pace.

If there's work occurring onsite, money is flowing. Contrators don't work for free. There's more than enough demand for their labour for them to prioritize away from a site where the funding has dried up. The most obvious sign of trouble to us outsiders will be work pausing. No sign of that so far.

Even that is tenuous, as the work that was paused for this project where unrelated to financial reasons as far as I am aware.
