Carpenters Update:

Unfortunately, the employers took the position that they can’t meet with us tomorrow (May 13th) or next week because “they need more time to gather data to present to the Union” prior to restarting the negotiations. “It is incredibly disappointing that this group of employers wants to hold hostage millions (if not billions) of dollars’ worth of construction, much of which involves critical infrastructure, because they are unprepared”, said Mike Yorke, the CDCO’s President and Director of Public Affairs and Innovation.

Hi, thanks. Does this mean all workers could go back to work? Or just 1 group? Thanks. 😃

I think it's the forming part that if they come to an agreement could restart this building (or any residential) to my understanding.
Yeah. Framing sector would probably only resume single family residential.

Forming met on the 13th and have another meeting on the 17th. Hopefully we get a resolution then.
