Just noticed that there's a Krcmar sign on the Scott Mission (bottom corner on the north end of the building). Haven't heard anything concrete about future plans for it but it's interesting to see considering how they're typically engaged for sites seeking redevelopment potential.

Interesting to see the intensification of Spadina kicking off. It began at the southern end (The Well and others) and now there's this.

How long before Chinatown becomes a hot spot? It's strangely managed to avoid the intense condo boom of the last 15 years for the most part.

Like others, I'm on the fence about this project. I'm happy it's not another blue and glass box, but I'm anxious about the final details and street level.

This project for the NE corner of Spadina & D'Arcy may get the ball rolling, 315 Spadina. Although, the trade off would be the many independent retailers it would replace, at least in the interim.

What bothers me though is how the fire damaged and now vacant SW corner at Spadina & Baldwin, remains decrepit after all these years. Likely a combination of the intricacies of having multiple property owners and complexities insurance (?), all that has been planned is a still an unbuilt 2 storey retail pavilion. Shame because if all these burnt down properties were combined properly, it should easily be a candidate for a midrise mixed-use building.
