Agreed. In my perfect fantasy world Draper would be closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian woonerf with restaurants and small shops occupying the older houses. Replace the street with brick pavers, install some catenary lighting and lots of plants.

A little hess village in Toronto? would love a new club/bar street

Yup! The city likes to keep it as a historical novelty street with single family homes. Surrounded by highrises and skyscrapers.

I think those homes will be converted to offices and/or retail someday. Few people will want to live in a SFH in a place like that.
