I think the blue is likely due to the reflection from the sky...an overcast day will likely fix that.

As for the grey, there is certainly an unhealthy obsession of this colour (or lack there-of) among developers in this city...but this project is one of least offensive in the use of it, IMO. And for what that's worth.

IDK, I know to never trust a rendering, or a pic with filters but that gold hue (most recent draft) turned into grey real fast & l’m not down w that. Grey in city is my biggest pet peeve. ESPECIALLY when following other architectural projects in cities like Chi, London, NYC, Boston, Montreal, Van ~no one’s doing that anymore except Dubai-No Thanks!! 19 Duncan is definitely not an outstanding building Imo.

Maybe. But they could have done both. High quality materials & some colour -gold amber copper‘y hues. Change it up.

I'm not a fan of balconies on most buildings, but in this case, I'm like - sure, why not? They could be considered an architectural folly.
