Project Timeline​

  • Fall 2020: Conceptual design and community engagement
  • Summer 2021: Construction drawing preparation
  • Fall 2022: Tender for construction
  • Spring 2023: Construction
The timeline is subject to change.

A new 2580 m² park is being designed at 21 Monte Kwinter Crt., located south of Wilson Avenue and west of Tippett Road. The project is a joint park dedication in partnership with 30 Tippett residential and 4-6 Tippett mixed-use developments.

The proposed park is in the conceptual design phase and includes the following elements:

  • A central pedestrian pathway leading to:
    • Public transportation
    • Seating and/or picnic elements
    • New plantings/planting beds
    • A large children’s playground
    • Small sculptural water play features
    • An outdoor fitness area
    • An open lawn area
The new Tippett Park will be part of a larger network of public spaces in the surrounding area currently under development which includes a small dog relief area with fence separation and a boardwalk and perennial gardens bordering the park to the south.

The City, in partnership with the developer, is leading the park development and construction.
