Site Plan Approval for the renovation and expansion of the existing Health and Wellness Centre within the Koffler building at the University of Toronto. The proposed addition will include 800 square metres of non-residential gross floor area for a total of 11,166 square metres.

I guess the addition will be on the roof? Tight site - doesn't look like much room around the building to add on to.

I was thinking about going above as well. Although seems like there's also some space here to work with where that small 1 storey section is, without impacting the Bahen Centre courtyard too much.

They need to be really careful with the design to ensure that it's sympathic to the original architecture. The existing building, built as the city's largest Carnegie library, is beautiful and historic. It was Toronto's central reference library before TRL opened at Yonge and Bloor in the 1970s.
