I turned out a much better addition than I had initially worried it might be. Now lets how it actually does what is intended and helps create some new businesses and economic opportunities for our city.

I wish our city planners had insisted more on mid-rise development on our main streets rather than the decades of high rise buildings we ended up with. Imagine neighbourhoods with dozens of mid-rise buildings as interesting as the SR Innovation Centre. A good mix of mid-rise buildings with lots of neighbourhood parks. Opportunity missed in my opinion. Maybe it’s not to late for streets like Dupont and Bathurst.
