We’re getting to be like New Yorkers who mean Manhattan (below 72nd St or so) when they say ‘the city’.

The recent, wonderful photos posts in this thread had me down here taking a look-see on Thursday. Along w/the building and streetscape, and some photos of the associated park.

Park is looking pretty sharp overall, but there is one completely dead pine tree as you can see on the right hand side of this pic.

Looks like the outdoor dining tables at a McDonald’s in 1992.

@Rascacielo

He's not wrong............

I know exactly what they were thinking.............they're harder to move, harder to steal...........

But they do give off a bit of an outdoor 90's food court/patio vibe.

I'm not keen on the trip hazard that results from the chair being connected to the table.

I do see the design leaves one-side open to allow for wheelchair access, that much I applaud.

Is that the lobby behind the columns? Should have been a no-brainer to have retail or a cafe directly facing the parkette here...
There is retail planned for the Howard Street frontage, including where the windows are behind the stairs in @Rascacielo's middle photo in the post above. Floor level there for the retail matches the Howard Street sidewalk. The area at ground level immediately adjacent to the where the seating is, however, the elevator lobby, as the elevators are just feet from the windows there.
