I'm not sure on timing, but it may be for a brief period.

There are, however, other approved projects that will be taller (the one in Ajax on Westney comes to mind which I believe is tallest approved).

Will this be the tallest building in Durham Region?

It’s the tallest under construction currently but Universal City 5 (54 storeys), PCC 4 (55 storeys) and 190 Westney Road in Ajax (60 storeys) are the tallest approved towers that will be built in the region.
