Today. Hello, W!

This hotel seems doomed to failure with the upcoming destruction of the attached HBC Centre and the Bloor Station expansion. Many years of very loud construction are ahead. Maybe we will get a nicer W hotel once this bites the dust?

The hotel is actually in a separate building at the back facing a street parallel to Bloor (I believe it’s Asquith), so any noise from the Yonge/ Bloor station expansion and HBC redevelopment will be somewhat mitigated.

Most of the construction noise—jackhammering, grinding—would be the same as what's coming through the wall from the next room anyways.

It’s the W, so the construction will be blocked out by the loud bar music and cocaine snorting.

W Hotels are notorious for their parties and social life.

That's great! We need more life in this city.
