Don’t know what’s going on, but they started to tare this down today.

Looks like someone made an expensive mistake!

It looks like they cut the walls down to almost the dirt and smoothed it out.

And now they're installing formwork and rebar in order to pour the concrete again... I guess the original wall was somehow out of spec in an otherwise unfixable way.

I sent an email to the Senior Project Coordinator for the community centre regarding the weight machines (or lack thereof), and received the following response:

Weight training machines are due to be installed at the new Community Recreation Centre, equipment of type, quantity and quality much as is fitted up at the present time at the existing community centre.

These will be in addition to the cardio machines listed on the project webpage under the ‘New Community Recreation Centre’ tab.
