Lot more up on my site

About 1/3+ of the underground parking slab has been pour to start the grade slab in the south west corner

Very stooopid question time: Are they planning on making a gravel only underground parking lot here? Cause, I'm not sure why they're erecting the columns first...

...or is there something I missed a few pages back to as to why they're doing it this way. 🙀
No

Slab being pour starting to the west and seen above as noted. Dig hole, place infrastructure underground, pour columns, lay gravel, pour concrete and start placing scaffolding for next level.

There; that's the first part of today's walk..........now it's time to make dinner......

Seared Beef Tendeloin crusted simply in sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper, and basted w/brown butter, alongside some Yukon Gold Potato roasted in duck fat; and then a bit of Sea Asparagus to add some vibrant
green and a saline element to the plate, along side flash-fried Red Bell Pepper, and julienned carrot.

Tonight's wine is an exquisite Petit Sirah.

Back, later.

Looks like they’ve finally started shoring for the south building.

I was under the impression that the south building was originally going to be a condo (though it's be the same from a planning approvals perspective), so maybe they changed their mind to move faster (in the face of rising hard/soft costs)....or maybe I'm just speculating too much

What makes you think it's NOT a condo?

How much did this project stall during the labour action? I feel like apart from the southern piling, everything else looks about the same from weeks back.

Dear Ottawan: The resolution on your photo makes it look as though you took it FROM Ottawa!
Yeah, I debated whether this one should be posted. Erred on the side of doing so for a future before / after comparison.

Also, I'm about to acquire a proper camera with telephoto lens, so should be able to take better distance shots next time I'm up the Tower. Although it was 13 years since my last trip up...
