It's not Yonge and Bloor so the standard of design in the area isn't very high. I like it since it continues the densification of Scarborough.
 
It definitely looks like a mid rise, I found another webpage that seems to have some more information about this new development.

There seems to be good transit options atm, but definitely agree with UD2 that any development is good development.

I drove by here the other day, they have already demo'ed the plaza, shored and dug down completely and a tower crane is installed, no pics unfortunately since I was driving.
Can you be coaxed into another visit to the area, but with a camera?!
