It is really sad to see such a great magician and atheist skeptic James Randi die.

Randi was famous for debunking every single claim of the supernatural ranging from faith healers to spoon benders. He dropped out of Oakwood Collegiate and began learning how various magic tricks are done, leading him to be an expert on debunking extraordinary claims. He later came out as LGBT.

I was sad to read that news.

I like how there are so many magicians in the skeptics organizations. They have an inside track on how easily people can be fooled and how to do it.

In this day and age, people like the late Randi are needed to combat the dissemination of disinformation prevalent in antisocial media.
